Doppio Passo IGT Primitivo Salento 2020 - 1.5 L Magnum
The pressing and production of Primitivo DOPPIO PASSO follows a complex process that is necessary to produce such a fine, top-class wine. Some of the vines for the Primitivo DOPPIO PASSO must be harvested in the second or third third of August. A traditionally tried and tested process is used to process the fruity grapes into a wine. In order to achieve the best possible result, it is produced using modern methods. Fermentation takes at least two weeks, during which a temperature of at least 28 °Celsius must prevail. The second part of the grapes, on the other hand, must continue to ripen on the plant for three or four weeks. Only after they are very ripe are they also fermented. Finally, the two parts are carefully mixed and fermented together again. This process not only gives the Primitivo DOPPIO PASSO a slightly higher alcohol content, but also makes it wonderfully rich in flavour and full-bodied. The colour of the wine is also warm and accentuated by shimmering highlights. Overall, the wine is pleasantly round and has an excellently fine fruity sweetness. Its flavour is rounded off with light, spicy aromas. It is a beautifully dry wine for true connoisseurs who know what they want. It is recommended to drink it at a temperature of around 18 °Celsius, as this allows it to develop its full flavour.

Emilio Moro Finca Resalso D.O. 2023 - 1.5l Magnum
The Emilio Moro winery looks back on several generations as a winemaking family in the D.O. Ribera del Duero. From this time, they have 70 hectares of their own vineyards, whose vines are between 15 and 75 years old. In 1987, the family finally decided to produce wine under their own name. After a very successful business year, the current bodega was finally completed in 2001. It is located in the heart of the wine-growing region - in a triangle formed by the towns of Pesquera de Duero, Valbuena de Duero and Peñafiel. Finca Resalso is the winery's entry-level wine, whose grapes come from young 5-15 year old Tempranillo vines. Like Emilio Moro, Finca Resalso is a pure Tempranillo (Tinto Fino), which is matured for 6 months in French oak barriques. Finca Resalso takes its name from a vineyard of the same name, which was planted in 1933, the same year that Emilio Moro was born. In addition to Finca Resalso, the winery also produces the main wine Emilio Moro, as well as the top wine Malleolus and the two single-vineyard wines Malleolus de Valderramiro and Malleolus de Sancho Martin. Tasting notes: Opaque grant red colour with a violet rim. Very expressive on the nose with great aromatic clarity and dominance of the grape (blackberry, blueberry and liquorice). Delicious and very well balanced on the palate with ripe, juicy tannins.

Prosecco di Valdobbiadene DOCG Astoria Millesimato Extra Dry 2024 - 1.5 L Magnum
The grapes are harvested by hand in September, when the grapes have reached their highest chemical/organoleptic balance. The grapes are then gently pressed and the must is statically decanted. Primary fermentation takes place in the tank at 16°C with selected indigenous yeasts; before this is complete, the new wine with a high residual sugar content is transferred to an autoclave for the formation of foam. Foaming takes place without interrupting the primary fermentation and lasts 20/25 days. The wine then rests on the yeasts for approx. 30 days. This technique produces a more fruity sparkling wine with a typical flavour. After bottling, the wine rests for 4-6 weeks before being sold. Perlage: very fine and persistent. Petra HEBO Toscana Rosso IGT 2023 - 1.5l Magnum
Petra is considered one of the most ambitious modern wine estates in Tuscany. Founded by the Moretti family, Petra was created in the coastal Maremma near Suvereto with a clear vision of combining architecture, terroir and precision winemaking. Merlot forms the core of the blend, supported by Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Sangiovese. ZARIHS Syrah by Borsao 2019 - 1.5l Magnum
Characteristics of the vineyard: The first Syrah was planted in 2002 at the foot of Moncayo. The vines were carefully planted to take advantage of the soil, the sun and the uniqueness of the Cierzo (a brisk wind that blows from the north-west for over 200 days a year), which refreshes the grapes from flowering to peak ripeness. The altitude of the vineyard is between 350 and 600 metres above sea level in limestone soil, which gives the Syrah a pleasant acidity. Vinification: The maceration lasts between 4 and 5 days and the entire fermentation lasts 15 to 20 days in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 22 to 26 °. At this time it matures for 12 months in new American oak barrels and others in stainless steel tanks. Flavour notes: Appearance: Opaque red-black colour. Purple-red rim. Aroma: powerful impression of blackberries with a hint of wood smoke and sweet vanilla. The nose begins to open up and develops notes of dark chocolate. Palate: The first impact is very full-bodied, with a soft, smooth structure. Flavours of dark berries dominate; wild blackberries and dried plums with notes of espresso.

Bodega Santa Cruz Gold Rupestre D.O. Garnacha Tintorera 2018 - 1.5l Magnum
Wine made from Garnacha Tintorera (100%). The wine is made in the traditional way. Fermentation takes place in French oak barrels in which the wine is left to mature for 14 months. The Bodega Santa Cruz de Alpera was founded in 1947 by 25 winegrowers. Their aim was to create a winery that would transform the quality of the grapes into excellent wine. Now, after more than 60 years of experience and with larger vineyards and fully modernised facilities, they are facing new challenges. They want to keep the co-operative identity; the winery offers unique products by growing mainly one variety: Garnacha Tintorera. It may come as a surprise, but Garnacha Tintorera has no relation to Spain's top grape, Garnacha. In fact, it was bred in France in the second half of the 19th century under the name Alicante Bouschet and cultivated on a large scale. On the one hand, the grape variety is less susceptible to diseases such as powdery mildew, and on the other, its red pulp in blends provides high colour intensities. Outside France, Spain is the most important cultivation country. Here it was produced in large quantities, especially in the post-war years. In some cases, a small proportion of Garnacha Tintorera was also found in German red wines of the time, providing the pale German reds with colour. Even today, it is mainly used as a cuvée partner. It is only very rarely offered as a pure variety.

SELA Rioja D.O.C Bodegas Roda 2021 - 1.5l Magnum
The Sela wine comes from vineyards that are 15 to 30 years old. Bodegas Roda SELA is a young, strong wine that has a lot to say, but with the fresh voice of youth. It comes from sustainable vineyards. It can be drunk as soon as it is released, it is younger than its older brothers and can age well in the bottle. An attractive wine for young people who are beginning to live the passion of the wine world.Intense and direct, with lots of red fruit in the cherry area and some black fruit details. One has the impression of sweet, ripe fruit. The complexity is greater than usual, with some mineral details of damp earth and aromatic herbs. Broad and voluminous with very good tannins. It is lively, powerful and full of flavour. It will age very well in the bottle. It is a wine that will have a long life, although SELAs are usually savoured quite quickly. It has length and a lot of freshness, and there is a subtle bitter note in the aftertaste, really nice. It's a young and big wine, with more structure than other vintages. The enormous 2019 vintage is very much appreciated.Awards PEÑÍN91JAMES SUCKLING92

Donna Olimpia Bolgheri Rosso DOC 2023 - 1.5l Magnum
From the Bolgheri DOC on the Tuscan coast, this wine reflects sandy and clay soils that shape structured reds with notable freshness. The estate Donna Olimpia 1898 interprets this origin through Bordeaux-inspired varieties and Mediterranean influence. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon form the core, complemented by Cabernet Franc for added precision. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel, followed by ageing in wood to integrate and refine the blend. The 1.5l magnum bottle supports slower ageing and a more stable development over time. Dark berries, cherry and subtle spice define the profile, supported by delicate toasted notes and smooth tannins. The structure remains balanced with clear acidity and a dry, precise finish. In magnum, the wine often appears more harmonious with additional depth.

Umani Ronchi CUMARO CONERO DOCG Riserva 2020 - 1.5l Magnum in 1er Holzkiste
Cùmaro is one of the most important wines in the history of Umani Ronchi and can also be counted among the founding members of the family of fine wines from the Conero region. It was created in the mid-1980s to honour the Montepulciano grape variety and an area close to the sea with very calcareous soils. Methods were used that were based on a very strict selection of grapes in the vineyard and - at least for the time - on modern winemaking and ageing techniques. The name Cùmaro is a tribute to Mount Conero, komaros in Greek, which means "strawberry tree": an evergreen shrub that grows freely in its forests. Since 2004, the wine has been authorised to bear the designation "DOCG (guaranteed and controlled designation of origin) Conero Riserva".VINEYARD The vineyard from which the Cùmaro comes is located on the edge of the municipality of Osimo, in a south-easterly direction, at an altitude of around 150-200 metres above sea level. The terrain, which was formed from marine formations from the Pleistocene-Pleistocene period, consists of very deep, calcareous clay soils.YIELD PER HECTAREThe yield is kept within narrow limits through very close pruning and targeted thinning and can vary between five and 6-8 tonnes per hectare depending on the season.HARVESTThe grapes are harvested by hand and collected and transported in crates. Montepulciano is a relatively late variety. The harvest usually takes place in October, when the grapes are at their best with an advanced degree of phenolic ripeness.VINIFICATIONThe grapes are destemmed and lightly crushed. Fermentation takes place at 27-29°C in steel tanks for 12-14 days with natural yeasts. The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation. MATURING The wine is matured for 12-14 months in 225-litre oak barrels. After bottling, the Cùmaro matures in a temperature-controlled environment for around 6-8 months.

Finca Biniagual VERÁN 2021 - 1.5l Magnum
In the middle of the historic village of Biniagual, Finca Biniagual is surrounded by stone houses, olive trees and vineyards that had nearly disappeared for decades. The estate was created with the ambition of reviving the forgotten wine heritage of this tiny village in the heart of Mallorca while bringing indigenous grape varieties such as Mantonegro back into focus. VERÁN reflects this identity by placing Mantonegro at the centre of the blend, supported by Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes grow on limestone and clay soils around Binissalem, are selectively hand harvested, fermented in stainless steel and aged for around fifteen months in oak barrels. In the 1.5 litre Magnum, the wine develops with greater calm and precision, preserving the island’s freshness, herbal complexity and Mediterranean tension over a longer period. Dark cherry, blackberry and ripe plum are layered with rosemary, juniper, Mediterranean herbs and delicate toasted notes. Mantonegro contributes a bright and slightly saline freshness, while Syrah adds spice and Cabernet Sauvignon structure and depth. Despite its Mediterranean warmth, VERÁN remains composed and finely structured, driven by polished tannins and the mineral tension typical of Mallorca’s best vineyard sites. In Magnum format, this balance becomes especially harmonious and multidimensional.
