Sor Ugo Bolgheri Rosso Superiore DOC 2022 - 0.75l
Sor Ugo by Aia Vecchia is a Bordeaux-inspired blend from the Bolgheri Rosso Superiore DOC on the Tuscan coast. Cabernet Sauvignon forms the structural backbone of the wine, complemented by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Together these varieties combine depth, ripe fruit and aromatic spice, expressing the characteristic Mediterranean style of Bolgheri. The grapes come from vineyards around Bolgheri in Tuscany, one of Italy’s most renowned regions for Bordeaux-style blends. The family estate Aia Vecchia vinifies Sor Ugo using traditional fermentation methods. The wine then matures for around eighteen months in French oak barriques, developing structure, depth and layered aromas of dark fruit, spice and finely integrated oak.

Umani Ronchi PELAGO Marche Rosso IGT 2020 - 0.75l in 6er Holzkiste
Pelago is the result of the insight of our technical group, which had the idea of pairing Montepulciano with Cabernet Sauvignon. It is a wine that maintains the style and personality of the indigenous grape varieties while enhancing its aromatic profile and complexity by adding Bordeaux-style characteristics. In order to maintain a high standard of quality, we have chosen to produce it only in years when the grapes are suitable for a good wine. The name Pelago, derived from pelagos, which means "sea" in ancient Greek, refers to its maritime character and the special flavour and aroma qualities that are typical of wines from near the coast.VINEYARDThe vineyard from which Pelago comes is located on our estate in the municipality of Osimo, about 100-150 metres above sea level, on a southeast-facing slope. The terrain, which was formed from marine formations from the Pleistocene-Pleistocene period, consists of very deep soils, a very deep, calcareous clay loam.YIELD PER HECTAREThe yield is limited by very close pruning and targeted thinning and can vary between five and 5-7 tonnes per hectare depending on the season.HARVESTThe grapes are harvested by hand and collected and transported in crates. The harvest begins at the beginning of September with Merlot, continues at the end of the month with Cabernet Sauvignon and ends in October with Montepulciano, a relatively late grape variety, when the grapes are at their best with advanced phenolic ripening.VINIFICATIONThe grapes are destemmed and lightly crushed. Fermentation takes place at 27-29°C in steel tanks with submerged cap for 14-15 days on natural yeasts. MATURING After malolactic fermentation, the wine is transferred to 225-litre oak barrels where it matures for 14 months. After bottling, Pelago matures for around 12 months in a temperature-controlled environment.

Barbera d'Asti Montebruna 2020- 1.5l Magnum
The limestone-rich hills surrounding Asti in Piedmont give Barbera d'Asti Montebruna DOCG freshness, tension and a clearly defined sense of origin. In this terroir, the Barbera grape develops precise acidity and vibrant dark berry fruit shaped by the warm climate and mineral soils of the region. Braida di Giacomo Bologna works with grapes from the historic Montebruna vineyard, where selective harvesting and careful vinification preserve the classic character of Piedmontese Barbera. Fermentation takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by ageing partly in large oak casks and partly in barriques, creating balance between fruit, spice and structure. Ripe cherry, plum and dark forest berry aromas combine with subtle spice and mineral nuances. The lively acidity provides freshness and length, while integrated tannins bring harmony and depth. In the 1.5 litre magnum format, Montebruna develops more slowly and evenly, supporting additional balance, complexity and ageing potential. The magnum format further emphasises the classic expression of this Piedmont red wine.

Since 1974 Primitivo di Manduria DOP 2021- 1.5 L Magnum in Holzkiste
When tradition and innovation come together, the result is a wine like the Primitivo di Manduria SINCE 1974 - unique in flavour and full of authenticity. Matured for over a year in French oak barrels, the Primitivo di Manduria SINCE 1974 develops its soft, warm and complex character. The vineyards near Carosino (province of Taranto, Apulia) are almost 200 metres above sea level, with a high average temperature and little rainfall throughout the year. The soils are predominantly clay. The grapes are selected and hand-picked in the third decade of August. Vinification is traditional for red wines: the must remains in contact with the grape skin. It is then transferred to barrels where it completes its fermentation at a controlled temperature. Aged in barrels for at least 12 months! Awards for 2013: 20th Berlin Wine Trophy 2016: Berlin Silver

Crognolo Toscana IGT - Tenuta Sette Ponti 2022 - 1.5 L Magnum in Holzkiste Kopie

In the medium term, the Crognolo from Sette Ponti will probably consist of 100% Sangiovese. "Bricco dell'Uccellone" Braida Barbera d'Asti DOCG 2020 - 0.75l in 6er Holzkiste
With tireless dedication, the Bologna family fulfils the legacy of Giacomo Bologna, who is rightly described as the father of modern Barbera d'Asti. The historic jewel of the house is the Bricco dell'Uccellone: dense and complex on the nose, tannic and persistent on the palate, with an excellent structure and beautiful acidity and flavour persistence. The Bologna family has been successfully producing wine in Monferrato for around half a century. And their Braida winery has always been one of the most outstanding wineries in Piedmont. With the siblings Raffaella and Giuseppe Bologna, the third generation has taken over the management of the family business. The two oenologists combine modern knowledge with tradition in their work. In the 1980s, their father Giacomo Bologna broke new ground in the handling of the Barbera grape by daring to age it in barriques for the first time and giving the red variety the status of a noble grape. The name of the winery goes back to the grandfather of the current estate owners, Giuseppe Bologna, who once earned the nickname "Braida" playing ball games on village courts.

The wine has a deep, intense, deep ruby red colour. The slow and steady movement in the glass and the narrow arches formed by calm drops are striking. They are a sign of a great structure and an important alcohol content. The first flavours are those of cherry. Later, herbaceous and spicy notes related to small berries. The tobacco odour perceived on the finish is pleasant and barely pronounced. In the mouth, the dynamic balance between an enveloping softness, which is also due to the high alcohol content, and a lively acidity is surprising. The tannins, which are soft and round, also contribute to the elegance. However, the structure is rich, consistent and important. The flavour is fine and rich with small undergrowth fruits such as currants and wild strawberries as well as cherries and sour cherries.

Oreno Toscana IGT - Tenuta Sette Ponti 2021 - 0.75l in 6er Holzkiste
There are many stars at the Sette Ponti winery, whether it's the small Super Tuscan Crognolo 2021 or the already legendary Vigna dell Impero 2013 - a pure Sangiovese from the oldest Sangiovese parcels on the estate. Dr Morette from Sette Ponti is passionate about the Oreno 2021. Today, the Oreno 2021 consists of a blend of Cabernet, Merlot and a good portion of Petit Verdot. In contrast to the Orma 2021, this is a subtle but small difference. In addition, the vineyards for the Oreno 2021 from Sette Ponti are located in the heart of the Chianti region. Here, where the rolling hills of Tuscany nestle so picturesquely in the landscape, the avenues are adorned with the typical cypress trees, the scent of rosemary fills the air and the large, famous Chiannina cattle graze in the fields, the vines thrive to perfect ripeness in such great vintages as 2021. You can taste this in the Oreno 2021 from Sette Ponti, which always comes with a large portion of finesse. Brilliant, deep ruby violet colour. Compact nose with intense notes of dark currants, blackberries and tobacco, exciting play. Shows warmth and fire, juicy, rich fruit and unfolds with fine-grained, dense tannins and ends with a furious finish of fine dark chocolate.

Preludio de SEI SOLO D.O. 2022 - 1.5l Magnum in 1er Holzkiste
From the small-scale project of Javier Zaccagnini in Ribera del Duero, Preludio de Sei Solo expresses elegance and precision rather than sheer power. The name refers to Johann Sebastian Bach’s «Sei Solo», a tribute to concentration, depth and quiet craftsmanship that defines the philosophy of the estate. Old Tempranillo vineyards around La Horra provide the foundation for this refined Ribera del Duero. Vinification is carried out parcel by parcel with restrained oak ageing in barriques and larger casks, allowing origin and structure to remain at the centre. Dark cherries, blackberries, Mediterranean herbs and subtle spice shape the composed and precise character of this Tempranillo. The texture is dense yet remarkably fine, supported by chalky freshness and a long, linear finish. Despite its concentration, the style remains cool and balanced, almost Burgundian in interpretation. Particularly well suited to braised lamb, Iberico pork or aged Manchego.

Tenuta Guado al Tasso IL BRUCIATO Bolgheri Rosso DOC 2023 - 1.5l Magnum
From the coastal area of the Bolgheri, Il Bruciato is produced by Tenuta Guado al Tasso, one of the estates of Marchesi Antinori. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, together with smaller proportions of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, shape this Bolgheri Rosso DOC. Part of the wine matures in barriques while another part remains in stainless steel, preserving both structure and freshness. The 1.5-litre Magnum format supports a slower and more harmonious ageing process, making it particularly suited for cellaring and shared dining occasions. Dark cherry, blackberry and cassis notes meet Mediterranean herbs, subtle toasted nuances and refined spice. The tannins remain polished and precise, carried by vibrant fruit and the freshness typical of the Tuscan coast. The Magnum bottle enhances balance and depth during maturation. Well suited to braised beef, game dishes and aged Pecorino.

Astrales D.O. Ribera del Duero 2021 - 1.5 L Magnum in Holzkiste
Astrales from D.O. Ribera del Duero is produced by Bodegas Los Astrales in Anguix, Burgos. The Tinto Fino vines, many over 40 years old, grow on calcareous and clay soils shaped by a strongly continental climate with marked day night temperature variation. Fermentation takes place with native yeasts in wood and stainless steel, followed by around 18 months of ageing in French oak. The vinification focuses on origin, structure and precision. In the 1.5 litre Magnum format the wine evolves more slowly and gains additional harmony over time. The texture is dense yet focused, supported by dark fruit, mineral tension and clearly defined tannins, leading to a long and composed finish. Delivered in its original wooden case. A natural partner for aged beef or lamb dishes.

Umani Ronchi PELAGO Marche Rosso 2019 - 1.5l Magnum

SOPRA Costa Toscana IGT Merlot 2019 - 0.75l in 6er Holzkiste
The colour is an intense, not very dark ruby red. The bouquet is typical of the variety with notes of ripe plums, summer flowers and black pepper. On the palate, the sweet ripeness of the fruit caresses the centre of the mouth and finds the energy and drive for a fresh finish, with tightly woven tannins and a pleasant, slightly mineral character. A Syrah that, despite its young age, reflects both the variety and the terroir. This wine is a perfect companion for "crostini toscani" (toasted bread with Tuscan liver paste), appetisers with game sauce or slightly more daring and spicy dishes. Serving temperature: 16 - 18° C Vinification: Harvest by hand. Selection of the grapes on the vibrating table, from the 2020 vintage with optical selection machine. Fermentation with indigenous yeast in steel tanks and subsequent malolactic fermentation in French barriques in first passage. Maturation in barriques for 24 months. We then bottle the wine (without filtering).

Sor Ugo Bolgheri Rosso Superiore DOC 2022 - 1.5l Magnum
A premium wine from Tuscany that has all the characteristics of a great wine: Complexity, persistence and harmony. This is the verdict on a cuvée made from French grape varieties planted in Tuscan soil. It is a pleasure to experience the multi-layered, intense bouquet on the nose. It reveals fruit flavours (cassis, blackberry, plum) and notes of ageing reminiscent of caramel, toast, tobacco and leather. It is fun to hold the wine on the palate, where the fruity structure meets the powerful but ripe tannins. It is rare for a classic structure to be balanced with a full-bodied texture in the finish and to reflect the sensory impression of the nose and palate in a sustained, straightforward and consistent manner. The wines that offer this belong in the top league. Sor Ugo belongs in this category, no question about it.

Mauro VS 2022 in 3er Holzkiste **
**Price per bottle / 3-bottle wooden box : Please select 3 bottles. One of Spain's great, outstanding wine personalities, which has already managed to reap the highest honours in series. But what makes Mauro's Vendimia Seleccionada so unique? Well, first and foremost there is the almost unbelievable consistency - a hallmark of the bodega anyway - that characterises this wine. Then there is the excellent level. This wine scores at will, constantly and easily over 90 points... and repeatedly reaches spheres where 100 points are within sight. And it is a work of art that combines strength with an almost erotic art of seduction. The wine surprises with a finesse and playfulness that one might not have expected from the Vendimia Seleccionada in such a great year. Elegance and the purest style, satin and silk, the finest composition of flavours, race, class and harmony. Not just sheer opulence, but also perfect form. Mauro is bottled after being aged for 32 months in French and American oak barrels. La Mula de la Quietud DO 2017 - 0.75l
La Mula de la Quietud is based on Tinta de Toro, the local expression of Tempranillo and the defining grape variety of the Toro in Castile and León. The grapes come from very old bush vines, in part more than one hundred years old, growing on sandy soils with gravel. The vineyards lie at around 650 to 700 metres above sea level in a strongly continental climate. The vines are organically farmed, favouring low yields and a precise expression of the terroir. The wine is produced by Quinta Quietud, a family estate dedicated to old vines and traditional winemaking. After selective hand harvesting, fermentation takes place with native yeasts and extended maceration. The wine then matures for around eighteen months in French oak barriques, adding structure, depth and refined spice.

Grappa Nonino Anniversary Riserva 5 Anni In Barrique - 0.7l
Nonino presents Anniversary Riserva 5 Anni in Barrique as an aged ÙE Riserva from Friuli Venezia Giulia, classified as a grape spirit rather than a classic pomace grappa. Ribolla, Moscato, Merlot and Malvasia form the basis, separately distilled in copper steam stills and aged for more than five years in barriques and small casks. Vanilla, almonds and dried fruits give the distillate a warm, finely matured contour, complemented by grapes, floral notes, pastry and chocolate. The texture feels harmonious and elegant, while maturation adds depth without masking the aromatic origin of the grapes. Anniversary Riserva therefore remains a precisely crafted Nonino bottling with a clear anniversary reference, matured structure and calm complexity.

Since 1974 Primitivo di Manduria DOP 2016 - 3.0 L Doppelmagnum in Holzkiste
50&50 Toscana I.G.T. Avignonesi 2018 - 0.75l
The friendship between the owners of Avignonesi in Montepulciano and Capannelle in Chianti gave rise to our coveted 50&50 wine. The first vintage of 50&50 was 1988: during a cosy dinner, the former owners of the two wineries began to compare their wines and came up with this extraordinary blend of 50% Sangiovese from Capannelle and 50% Merlot from Avignonesi. Legend in a bottle 50 & 50 has a deep ruby red colour. Aromas of red and black berries intertwine with scents of Mediterranean herbs and sweet spices. The flavour is rich, enveloping and long-lasting with a balsamic finish. This elegant blend of Merlot and Sangiovese is perfect for long ageing in the bottle

Monteverro Chardonnay Toscana IGT 2021 - 0.75l
The grape variety is a challenge in Tuscany - but thanks to the sea breeze, cool nights and soil structure, it is possible to produce this single-varietal white wine in selected individual vineyards. With its freshness and elegant texture, it is reminiscent of the great examples from Burgundy; it owes its complex flavour to careful work in the vineyard and ageing in barriques and cement. A unique Chardonnay from the Tuscan coast, produced in very limited quantities.
