Product information "Marta Maté Ribera del Duero 2021 - 0.75l"

Tempranillo defines Marta Maté as a precise expression of the high-altitude Ribera del Duero landscape around Tubilla del Lago. Vineyards situated at around 900 metres above sea level give the wine a cool tension and an unusually refined freshness for the region. Behind the project are Marta Maté and Ignacio, who deliberately created a small, terroir-focused estate centred on individual vineyard parcels. Old vines rooted in limestone and clay soils, together with sustainable vineyard practices, shape the identity of this Ribera del Duero DO wine. Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts and around 14 months of ageing in French oak are carried out with restrained oak influence to preserve origin and precision.

Black cherry, wild berries and violet intertwine with Mediterranean herbs, graphite and subtle toasted notes. Despite its depth, the wine remains remarkably calm and elegant, supported by mineral freshness, fine-grained tannins and a clear linear structure. The style reflects a new generation of Ribera del Duero wines focused less on power and more on balance, origin and finesse.

Eremus Crianza Ribera del Duero Ecologico 2020 - 0.75l
Tempranillo defines Eremus Crianza Ecológico with the clear structure and spicy depth characteristic of the D.O. Ribera del Duero. The organically cultivated vineyards around Pedrosa de Duero and Roa belong to the family winery Bodegas Hnos. Páramo Arroyo, which interprets its wines in a traditional and terroir focused style. The grapes are harvested by hand in small crates and carefully sorted before temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine then matures for around 12 months in French and American oak barrels. Within the estate portfolio, “Eremus” represents the more classically aged and structured interpretation of Ribera del Duero. The name derives from the Latin term for retreat or solitude and reflects the idea of calmness, time and slow maturation. Dark cherries, blackberries and balsamic herbs shape the concentrated and balanced profile of this organic Crianza. Oak ageing adds subtle notes of cocoa, tobacco and gentle toasted aromas without overshadowing the freshness of Tempranillo. The tannins remain present and precisely integrated, supporting the wine’s calm and linear style with additional depth and structure.

Eremus Reserva Ecologico Ribera del Duero 2018 - 0.75l
Tempranillo defines Eremus Reserva Ecológico with the depth and structured character typical of the D.O. Ribera del Duero. The organically cultivated vineyards around Pedrosa de Duero and Roa belong to the family winery Bodegas Hnos. Páramo Arroyo, which interprets its Reserva wines in a deliberately classical style. The grapes are harvested by hand, carefully double sorted and fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine then matures for around 20 months in French and American oak barrels. The name “Eremus” derives from the Latin word for retreat or solitude and reflects a wine shaped by time, calmness and slow ageing. Black cherries, wild berries, cocoa and balsamic herbs give this organic Reserva a concentrated and composed profile. Oak ageing adds subtle toasted notes, tobacco nuances and further depth while preserving the freshness of Tempranillo. The tannins remain dense and precisely integrated, supporting the wine’s powerful yet linear style. Suitable with braised beef, game dishes or aged hard cheese.

Ser Vivo y Natural Ecologico Lote 2023 - 0.75l
Family winery Bodegas Páramo Arroyo cultivates organically certified vineyards around Pedrosa de Duero and Roa in the D.O. Ribera del Duero. Ser Vivo y Natural Ecológico presents Tempranillo in a pure and unadorned style. The grapes are harvested by hand, carefully sorted and fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Vinification follows a minimal intervention approach without added sulphites in order to preserve the character of the vineyard, freshness and varietal identity. Within the estate portfolio, the “Ser Vivo y Natural” range reflects the winery’s natural interpretation of Ribera del Duero. Viña Arnáiz Tinto Crianza D.O. Ribera del Duero 2019 - 0.75l
Wine variety: Red Grape variety: Tinta del País (Tempranillo), the queen variety of the Ribera del Duero The Viña Arnaiz winery and its vineyards are located in the municipality of Haza, in a strategically favourable location, where Juana de Haz began to cultivate vineyards in the twelfth century. These vineyards expanded and became known in all areas for their exceptional quality. Our winery is located in the fortress, with an area of 80 hectares located in the La Magdalena, where we grow the traditional Tinta del Pais (Tempranillo), with new varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. In our courtyard there is a tower and the underground cellars from the 17th century with their attached wine presses. The winery has retained its character and historic facilities despite renovation, covering an area of 12,000 m2. The winery has been recognised as the best winery in Spain two years in a row by the prestigious Vinitaly International Contest.

Bardos Ribera del Duero D.O. Reserva 2018 - 0.75l
The wine shines in a new label and has a deep cherry red colour with dark purple edges. The nose is complex and attractive with lots of black fruit, chocolate and vanilla flavours from the fine oak. On the palate, it is very fleshy and powerful with a strong personality that is very typical of Tinta del País. The acidity and tannins are well balanced and contribute to the character. The aftertaste is long and persistent. Manual harvest - aged for 16 months in new French oak barriques, during which time it undergoes malolactic fermentation.
