This rosé spumante from Astoria Wines comes from the hills of the Tenuta Val de Brun in the Treviso area. Aromatic white and red grapes are used for the cuvée, with part of the red grapes vinified separately and briefly macerated on the skins. The second fermentation takes place at low temperature. With its residual sugar level, the spumante is made in the Extra Dry style, combining its regional origin with a precise and approachable sparkling wine character.

The colour is pale pink, with a fine and persistent perlage. Fresh fruit and white flowers shape the aromatic profile, accompanied by a savoury, lively structure and a subtly aromatic character. The overall impression remains harmonious and balanced despite the Extra Dry style. It pairs well with light antipasti, fish dishes or a relaxed aperitif.

Astoria Lounge Vino Spumante Cuveé - 0.75l

Predominantly Glera, this cuvée comes from the Veneto region in north eastern Italy. It is produced by Astoria Wines, a family owned winery in the hills of Treviso that has specialised in sparkling wines since the 1980s. The Lounge line was created in a fresh, approachable style for aperitifs and convivial occasions. After gentle pressing, the base wine undergoes temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by a second fermentation using the Charmat method to preserve fruit purity and create a fine, persistent mousse. Bright straw yellow with a delicate, persistent sparkle. Floral aromas are complemented by notes of apple, pear and citrus. Dry, balanced and refreshing, it finishes with subtle fruit flavours. A suitable accompaniment to aperitifs, light starters, seafood and fish dishes.

Astoria Lounge Vino Spumante Cuvée - 1.5 L Magnum

The grapes are harvested by hand in September, followed by light pressing with a short cold maceration of the grape skins and static decantation of the must. The first fermentation takes place at 18/19°C with selected yeasts. The young wine rests on the fine lees for a few weeks; the subsequent phase consists of the second fermentation, which lasts 20-25 days at 18°. After this, the sparkling wine rests on the lees for a few weeks. This is followed by tartaric stabilisation and bottling. Time spent in the bottle for final ageing Perlage: very fine and persistent. Colour: straw yellow with a greenish tinge. Aroma: ethereal, delicate, very personal thanks to the synergy of the multiple aromas with the scent of yeast; with a decidedly aromatic note. Flavour: full-bodied, harmonious, dry.

The Astoria Lounge Sweet, a novelty from Astoria Vini in Refrontolo, represents modern viticulture in northern Veneto. Under the management of Paolo Polegato in the third generation, the winery has achieved a place among the best Italian trend wines with contemporary methods, trendy design and marketing. The sweet spumante consists of 50% Glera and 50% Moscato, with the modern, monitored vinification in stainless steel tanks preserving the flavours perfectly. It shines straw yellow in the glass, with a fine perlage and green reflections. The complex bouquet of gardenia, honeysuckle, jasmine, ripe almonds and green figs leads to a typical Muscat flavour on the palate.
